Kerry Doyal

District Superintendent

Kerry Doyal serves as the fifth superintendent for the Allegheny District for the Evangelical Free Church of America.

Previously, Kerry and his wife, Robin, served EFCA churches in Brooklyn, NY; Waukegan and Round Lake, IL; Kingsport, TN; and Sarver, PA. He has a heart for cross-cultural ministry, having traveled to and ministered in India, Mexico, Costa Rica, Haiti, Peru and Italy. Kerry has been a frequent speaker at youth camps and retreats and, for four seasons, was the chaplain of a minor league baseball team. His writings on the Christian life and ministry have appeared in numerous publications, including the EFCA Blog. Kerry received his B.A. in Bible and Missions from Columbia International University (1985) and holds the Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (1990).

Kerry especially enjoys shepherding the pastors and their families as well as the other leaders of the 35 churches and church-plants in the Allegheny District. He says, “I enjoy writing, baseball, dark chocolate (60%) and connecting people. Robin and I both love travel and learning about new people, places and food.”

The Doyals live north of Pittsburgh and have five adult children.
